Network Solution Manager


Primary purpose
The Network Solution Manager is responsible to deliver Corporate Network solutions ensuring
the highest levels of availability, performance and security to meet the requirements outlined
by the internal Stakeholder and following corporate security Policies
 Develop the network architecture and related roadmaps aligned with the corporate strategy
and in cooperation with the global Service Provider
 Manage smaller projects and initiatives
 Provide consulting & expertise to other teams within XXX compnay
 Lead continuous improvement initiatives
 Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages

Key accountabilities
Manage and Engineer technical solutions in cooperation with the Service Provider for
 WAN, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity
 Routers, firewalls, proxies and other network security
 Remote access solution support
 Voice over IP
 Design, implement and support of enhancement/changes
 Perform network assessments and security audits
 Produce and Maintain Design and Operational Documentation for the Network Infrastructure
 Monitor and test system performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions,
 Provide 3rd level support
 Provide Guidance to internal Stakeholders on implementing infrastructure solutions
 Participate in Incident, Problem, Service Request and Change Management
 Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access

5-10 years in Network Architecture and Engineering with the ability to operate in a complex global structure
 Ability to isolate and resolve network performance and communication issues to ensure maximum up time and reliability
 Strong knowledge on:
 Cisco Products/Solutions (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Access Points, ISE,)
 Checkpoint Products (Firewalls, Cloudguard)
 Cisco VoIP, Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business in relation to Network setup
 VLANs, trunking, Quality of Service, static/dynamic routing and high availability configurations
 WAN Connectivity (MPLS, IPSEC)
 Knowledge on the following Products is a plus
 Zscaler Web Security
 Safenet Mobile Pass
 Riverbeed Steelhead
 Strong documentation and communication skills
 Basic project management skills
 Ability to manage an architecture and product roadmap
 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
 ITIL v3 certifications
 Fluent English; German and French is an asset
 Travel up to 20%
