Data manager Chart of Accounts

Purpose of the job:
As member of the international data management team of Deutsche Telekom Shared Services you are responsible for the implementation and management of cross-border data management projects. In this regard, you will face the following interesting tasks and challenges:

•Coordination and support of the rollout of a new central ERP GL data model
•Supporting the mapping of data objects like GL accounts used today by DT group company to the new central ERP system data model / chart of accounts
•Coordination and moderation of the information requirement process with focus on chart of accounts
•Analysis of information requirements (with focus on chart of accounts) and proposal of alternative solutions within a SAP data model in due consideration of best-practice approach and identification of optimization opportunities within the existing chart of accounts
•Support of financial processes analysis regarding the information requirements to assure the eventual posting of the requested information
•Work with an excel based chart of account mapping validation tool
•Status reporting of your rollout projects in front of the management team
Requirements for the employee:
Education:
University degree
Experience:
Experience in operational financial data management, in particular regarding general leder / chart of accounts (on a company level and for group consolidationProcess thinking thereby deep technical know-how on data management issues and understanding of data management processes
Knowledge of accounting processes, International Reporting Standards and ideally one local GAAP
Ideally experience with shared services
Knowledge of current project management methodologies
Experience with SAP (module FI)

Language knowledge:
English (fluent)
German (advantage)
